Oasis Moroccan Bath is a spa on South Shepherd Drive in Houston, Texas, built around the traditional Moroccan hammam. Each session takes place in a private room with steam, black olive soap, a kessa exfoliation, a rhassoul clay mask and a warm water rinse. Packages range from about 90 minutes to 180 minutes, and several can be paired with a massage. A couples room with two marble beds and a built-in jacuzzi is available for shared sessions. The spa also offers massage therapies, facials and body contouring treatments, along with an elite membership that gives discounts on services. Guests wear disposable undergarments or modest swimwear, and a relaxation room serves tea and light snacks after treatments. Reservations are required and the spa is open Wednesday through Sunday.
