Gangnam Spa Healing Paradise

Gangnam Spa is a Korean jjimjilbang in Houston, Texas, with over 30,000 square feet of baths, sauna rooms and relaxation lounges. Its Bul-Ga-Ma rooms are heated with wood fire, and an Illite room provides heat through a stone floor. Men's and women's locker rooms include lockers, showers, saunas and hot and cold baths where nudity is required, while the co-ed area outside them requires the provided uniforms. Admission covers the whole day and no reservation is needed, though a waitlist may apply on busy days. Weekday admission is listed at 48 dollars and weekend or holiday admission at 58 dollars. Guests must be 18 or older. Massages, facials and body scrubs cost extra and are booked by appointment, and monthly and longer memberships are offered.
