FarWell Sauna

FarWell Sauna is a walk-up, wood-fired sauna on the Chicago lakefront, located just south of the beach house at 57th Street Beach. The traditional room is heated by a Kuuma stove to a stated range of 170 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, and guests may pour water over the rocks to make steam. Sessions are shared with up to 10 guests. Visitors follow a simple cycle of heat, a cold water splash outside, and rest. Swimsuits are worn, and guests bring their own towels and water. Summer hours run on Tuesday evening, Friday morning, and Sunday morning, and sessions are booked online. Private group rentals during off-hours can be requested through the contact form.
