Dogpatch Paddle & Kayak runs a waterfront sauna and cold plunge at Crane Cove Park in San Francisco's Dogpatch neighborhood, next to its kayak and paddle board shop. The sauna is kept around 190 degrees Fahrenheit and the plunge around 49 degrees. Sessions last one hour. Public sessions are shared with up to three other guests, while private sessions reserve the whole sauna for a group of up to four. Sauna only and sauna plus plunge options are offered, along with monthly memberships and session packs. Members get extended hours. Access includes showers, lockers and a changing room, and there is a patio with chairs between rounds. Guests must be 16 or older and bring swimwear and a towel. Public hours are Tuesday to Sunday.
