Mermaid Spa is a Russian bathhouse on Mermaid Avenue in the Sea Gate neighborhood of Brooklyn. The wooden hall holds three Russian steam rooms, a dry sauna, a Turkish bath, two ice-water pools, a Jacuzzi and an ice cave. A traditional platza service with a birch venik can be booked, and a restaurant and backyard are on site. Visits are by booked appointment only.
