Svette Sauna: Prices and Hours (Tacoma, Seattle)

Svette Sauna operates a seaside sauna at Owen Beach in Point Defiance Park, Tacoma, overlooking Commencement Bay. Sessions run 75 minutes and are sold by the seat in a social format, with a twelve seat sauna heated to about 185 degrees Fahrenheit and löyly poured over hot stones. Guests move between the heat and the cold water of the Puget Sound for several rounds. Peak and matinee single sessions, five and ten session punch cards, a monthly membership, a short drop-in entry and a first-time trial for Washington residents are offered, and the whole sauna can be rented privately for groups of up to fifteen. A cold-water outdoor shower, cubbies and free parking are on site. A second location in Des Moines is listed as coming soon.
