Bywater Sauna

Bywater Sauna runs mobile sauna sessions near open water around Seattle, with locations at Alki Beach, Golden Gardens and a seasonal spot in Ballard. Sessions last 60 or 75 minutes and spots are limited, so guests reserve online ahead of time. Within a session, guests move between the sauna and cold water or cool air at their own pace. Guests bring their own towels and rinse off at outdoor showers in the public bathhouses. Drop-in sessions cost 35 dollars on weekdays and 40 dollars on weekends. A monthly membership at 100 dollars covers unlimited sessions, up to one per day, and includes one free guest pass each calendar month. Guests under 18 may attend with prior notice and a parent or guardian.
